Nepal, the land of Gods and Shamans.

To many travelers the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal represents images of snowcapped mountains because eight of the world's fourteen highest mountains are in this tiny country. Although Nepal is a small country it is diverse geographically as well as ethnically. The rich and vibrant cultural traditions exquisite ancient temples and monuments, fast running rivers, tropical jungles and rare and exotic wildlife makes a pilgrimage to this land an unforgettable memory. Nepal is one of the few countries in the world where people of different races, cultures and religions live in harmony.
The Kathmandu Valley has been called The Cultural Hub of Nepal. Once a separate kingdom it contains the three fabled cities: Kathmandu , Bhaktapur and Patan. Each is an artistic treasure housing graceful temples, elegant palaces, and quaint brick-paved courtyards dating from the beginning of the 5 th century. There are seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites located in the Valley.
Nepal, a predominantly Hindu state, accommodates other religions and spiritual practices. Shamanism, one of the oldest healing and spiritual practices, is practiced throughout the country. The organizers of the tours teach this ancient form of healing and introduce interested participants to shamans from different Nepali traditions.
